Unhappy Starter out?

My friend said that my starter might be out, as my battery tests good and it still wouldn't start after I charged it. I want to know if someone knows a shop that can fix it close by (rankin and kuykendahl) and possibly pick it up? I have no truck to get the cycle to a shop...

Make sure the ignition is on. Get a push with the clutch in and in 2nd gear. Get going and let the clutch out quickly. bam!

No clicking.
And in reference to push start/run start. I'm tall for a girl but my weight is barely enough to keep bike upright as I'm walking, much less running.

A friend can help. The pusher can hold the tail and keep it upright. I helped a guy push start the other day. It was his first time. He had no idea it could be done. I had to push a fat Katana once. That sucked.
