I tried it today. I had a bit of a time figuring it out but I got it. I was shifting throughout all day like a dream then I missed one on my way home. My bike is now in the shop.

Dammit.

Yeah. I missed it pretty hard. Just repeatedly doing nice and hard 20 to 100 roll-ons on my final ride home. I was enjoying pushing out hard accelerations on this quiet toll road. Popped into second really wrong.

I punched out a solid 450 miles in Hill Country. I was almost home when it happened. My mechanic picked me up and took the bike back with him.

Oh well.

sorry man, that sucks. i probably won't do it much i was just trying to get some feedback on if it was even safe, and with the what 7 pages now, i think i got all the info i need lol. it's nice, but if you do it wrong you get results like yours, that sucks.
Good luck with it being something simple !

Sorry that happened man, hope they find something cheap.

Can we now say its not so perfectly safe as some people have lead to believe?

I tried it today in my car it didn't work.

I bliped the gas.

I had to use the clutch every time. I drove from spring to clear lake so there was plenty of time for me to "try it out".

Regardless I just couldn't do it.

We dont think that he missed one time and tore his bike up. That is why they are calling that. From what I read and personally think. Some (me) may think he is just trying to get attention. Maybe I am wrong but maybe just maybe I am right.

I don't know what would be harder to deal with, ADD or a two digit IQ, but I'm getting some idea.
