jrock... what league are you playing in?

I set up a mini league with www.ff1.co.uk that a handful of HSN members have joined.

I'll be sure to sure setup a MotoHouston league next season.

Interesting race. The rain definitely mixed things up. Rain was Hayden's saving grace. Without rain forcing the field to pit he would have been ****ed in the points (which is why i'm not happy it helped him). Rain actually hurt Rossi a little, but he came back in the end like always.

Several teams won and lost that race on good/bad pit decisions. In a way it's unfortunate that winning the race came down to pit choices, but hey that's racing.

theres always a reason why rossi doesnt get first and theres always a reason hayden finishes the way he does. why is there always an excuse for the way things end up. i agree rossi is the best, but just because he is the best doesnt mean that he is always gonna finish first. dont blame it on the rain that rossi lost. but good race none the less.

Did anyone hear the outcome about Haydens' claim of Rossi moving up places during the yellow flag?

:laughing6 lol WTF?? rossi didn't get first because Rossi didn't ride hard enough. He said that himself. Rossi was headed to the front on the dry track, had to pit, and came back out in 8th place. So the rain hurt him there by forcing him and the field to pit and mixing everyone up on re-entry. that's fact not an excuse. Hayden finished the way he did because he didn't ride well enough to win this race. that's just the way it went down this time. Before the rain he was in around 14th, after everyone pits he's in 9th behind Rossi. So it did help him. I'm not making excuses for Rossi or Hayden. Although both are top notch riders, I am glad Hayden didn't win and finished behind Rossi because it's going to make the next 3 races that much more interesting. That was an interesting race. It had me on the edge of my seat more than once. Now let's see what happens in Japan.

Hayden said himself that he didnt have the pace in the dry on race tires. Directly from Hayden @ motogp.com "we gotta get stronger on dry race tires, thats just the bottom line. Today we got bailed out a bit..."

Pedrosa had a good start but was fading after a few laps. I thought Rossi was obviously the fastest in the "dry". Him and Gibernau were fighting for 2nd and cutting into Nakano's lead when it really started to come down and everyone was forced to pit.

come on man, everything that happened in the race benefited Hayden and hurt Rossi...not an excuse, like mulatto said, it's a fact. Both of them are good riders, but Rossi was impressive right before the rain started...came from 9th to 2nd in a matter of laps. Hayden moved only two spots before he came in....things do happen, but they benefit some riders other than others and in this case it's making Hayden look better than he really is IMO

all im saying is that hayden is one of the best riders on the grid. but it just seems like everybody only thinks he is good because rossi has had outside things happen to him. come on yall have to agree that this isnt just luck for hayden. i think a majority of it has to do with skill too.

hayden can outride anybody from this country. i dont think people assume hes good based on luck but rather he's at the position he's at because of luck. majority luck, but skill fo' sho'.
