Yeah me too. I've always been a Honda and Yamaha fan the most...just age-old tradition and obvious family bias, but that Kawi is BAD!!
I don't like the exhaust on either bike though...gross.

Its like the companies are finding the biggest scrap of metal they can find, and calling it an exhaust system.

Job security for the aftermarket companies, though!

the new nekkid bikes are hidius. I mean just ugly as . I will be buying a few older bikes when you guys upgrade to the ugly bikes.. and then I will resell them to you guys when the new wears off. I cant stand the look of the Kawi, honda, suz. none of the new models... pos....
there that is my opinion. I think the idiots running the companies are stupid. and Followed what poor people did when they couldnt afford to replace broken parts so they took them all off.
I have an idea.. lets make Bikes with less parts and charge even more money, the idiots on the road will think its great.....
/end rant

Better yet lets cover all our workmanship with fairings. Don't give any thought to simplicity as beauty. There are two sides to every coin.

I like the naked bikes but hate how they detune them from their supersport counterparts.

I'm not sure if I would call it a de-tune, they usually make changes to the motor to beef up the low-end and mid-range power. After all, a naked bike at 150+ doesn't sound like something that would be very fun or practical!

Yup! My Z1000 uses a ZX9-R motor, bored out 2.2mm, for better low end torque. Overall I think its only down 4HP from the stock ZX9-R motor- which can be attributed to the choked down stock Z1000 exhaust.
