1441cc ?

well i have not done anything yet nor will it be me doing it if it gets done

any how being that i paid off my bike i sent an email to tejas ms about getting a price on some work for the bike

head and cam work or maybe a full 1441 kit , not sure yet , so dep on what they come back with and how long ill be down , i may be getting some HP soon

dont have all the cash for the job but i may if i can put it on my shefield card

if not ill have to save some more,,

i emailed them the info that Alan and i had pm about , i am thinking that i would be just fine with cam and head work , tune and go but like Alan pointed out it would be down so this would be a good time for some pistons

any how i know its not a build but i dont have the time or space for a home build ,, nor do i know everything about this bike yet !

any how ill post more when i know more

and yeah the wife is going to flip out but hey as they say ,, its better to ask forgivness than permition

i understand, but it is a time bomb thing with busas, not an abuse thing. simply undercutting the gears will make a world of difference

Awee shitttt..... there goes the neighborhood....

1441 kit... an extra $1000 to pick up 15-20hp.... money well spent...especially if you're pulling it out anyway for a head/cams.

I wouldn't worry about the tranny right now, if its not acting up, don't worry about it..... Robbie's took a dump because he has made 300 passes on it and like to shift to 3rd in burn outs.... and even his didn't look bad at all other then a toasted shift fork....thats really all his had wrong...

You can always drop it back out if you have a tranny problem down the road....but since you don't drag race it, I doubt you will have any issues.... My original tranny made it to 20k miles and about 600 passes before it started skipping in 2nd gear...and I think it was the nitrous that got it....

No way in I would spend nearly 1k on cams and not port the head for another 1k. No way in I would spend 2k on the head and not spend another 1100 on the +3mill pistons and block. You really need all of the above to see the results. They all work together to get results.

So, is Tejas a good option for this kind of work? I need to do some of the above to my bike and was thinking about Andy at Metric because he was the only machine shop that I knew of.

Can't go wrong with Andy @ Metric.... He is VERY meticulous and does most of his own machine work.... He is a details guy for sure...

Billy @ Tejas, Freddy @ Eastside Honda (builds alot of fast suzukis, hondas, and kawis) are the 2 I would recommend. Andy @ Metric is also good/meticulas but will charge you an arm, leg and both nuts
