I had my heart set on a nicky arai but it just didn't fit right. I went to 3 different cycle places for fitment on different models. I just could not beat the shoei for my head. Props to cycle gear south for being patient. I was in there for a long time making sure I got exactly what I wanted.

the prob i have with my kbc is to much airflow, wind hits my face all the time, drys out my eyes, even when all the vents are shut and the screen is down... The bad is no airflow on top or back of my head...

That is not air flow...that is air coming up underneath the chin bar. I got bugs, dirt and other from that. My contacts dried out all the time. Plus all that air coming underneath made the helmet rise up at speed and I would have to push it back down when I slowed down. The new helmet has airflow from the vents that move air over the inside of the shield. The chin skirt keeps excess dirty air out. No eyes drying out. Helmet stays put on my head and I FEEL the air moving over my head...even at low speed. Big difference. I did not know how much I was suffering with the contacts drying out until I rode with the shoei.
