If you have ever run TMGP or LSTD track days, you may know the OP on TWT.

Please keep them all in you prayers.

Sorry for the confusion, I was trying to say Dennie was the OP on TWT. I do not know the rider that died, although the name does sounds familiar. Of course I lived in College Station while at A&M from 88-93 and while working in Bryan from 1995-2000, so that may be why.

Don't know if he raced... don't think so... I spoke with Denny @ TWS (Texas World Speedway) after - they weren't riding fast - the rider just drifted a little outside the double yellow and struck the rear wheels of the truck.

RIP to the fallen rider. Condolences to his family and friends.

That sucks for everyone. Denny is good people and if Denny liked the guy he must have been good people too.

We came across the scene yesterday, Bike was laying on its side on the back of a flatbed wrecker. So sorry to hear it was a fatality. We have been riding on 3090 for many years and have seen many accidents. There were a lot of distractions out there Sunday, Lots of bicyclists, Lots of motorcyclists but thats all part of riding on public roads. It requires an extra level of concentration and the ability to not ride over your head. Rip to the down rider and prayers to his family.

This wasn't someone acting like a fool, running high speed; not the right comment here, for this particular case.

I agree. I've ridden 3090 countless times and I've never seen or heard of anyone intentionally trying to kill, wreck, or discourage riders from that road. Yes, it doesn't take long to get in over your head out there but that's the case for any road.
