Possible fatality on 3090?

The group I was riding with today came up on 3090 close to noon and met a fire truck. We figured something must has happened and the few cars after the fire truck flashed us a few times. We came upon a crash site that had just been finished up, orange spray marks in the road from debri and one county and one DPS with flashers still on. We got to Yankees and we were told a Ninja 250 went wide and hit a truck, killing the rider.

Just wanted to make sure it wasn't anyone from here. I have no details and am really not sure if it was a fatality or not, but it appears so.

If so, RIP to the rider and prayers for the truck driver.

Why wouldn't they? Nothing wrong with the road. Just happens to those that ride way above their limits.

RIP

Wrong!! That is the worst road I've ridden in this part of Texas. It's garbage and people have been caught putting on the road to cause accidents.

Yep I knew it didnt look good when they were spray canning every piece of the bike on the ground for the investigation......and then the empty lid with blood all around it...

RIP to the rider....

Yeah I was not impressed with 3090 today....between the millions of piles of horse on the ground(literally), Lance Armstrong wanna be's pedaling their gays out in the middle of the lanes and constant vehicles pulling out of no where...it seemed more like navigating through an obstacle course, not riding curvy roads..... I was riding quite sloppy today, I could not stay focused on the curves/straights due to constantly being destracted by obstables...... I can easily see how you could get in over your head quick and eat it out there..... I pretty much did everything you are not supposed to do at one point or another today.

No doubt the fallen rider could have easily been distracted or just made a mistake, as it was easy to do today...especially if he was inexperienced...

I won't be riding 3090 again anytime soon....

FWIW, Bryan paper said it was 52 y/o from College Station.

"A College Station man has died following a motorcycle accident in Grimes County.

According to the Department of Public Safety the accident happened around 9 a.m. Sunday on FM 3090, about three miles north of Navasota.

DPS says Kayvon Jahedkar, 52, was headed north on FM 3090 when he lost control going around a curve and slid into the southbound lane. Jahedkar struck a tractor trailer and received severe injuries.

Jahedkar was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. "
