Exclamation Supercross Championship

I've been following Supercross since 84, and this season is by far the best racing ever! The points race is so close in both Lites East and West, and Supercross that's it's just too close to call it.

So who's gonna take it?

I say.....
Barcia in the Lites East
Tickle in Lites West
Dungey in Supercross

this is a great season. I'd really like for Reed to win the championship.

With Reed, Stewart, and Villipoto crashing each other out at every race, it leaves the door open for Dungey and Canard to slip by. Speed doesn't win championships, consistency does.

My guy is villopoto but he is starting to look like stewart. Dungey just had a tad of bad luck but he may be the winner if canrad doesn't sneack in.

Villopoto, Hansen, maybe and I wanted Wilson in the East, but looks like Barcia will finish it off.

I'm with you on the lights but I still think/want Reed to pull out the SX championship. Him and Stewart will probably keep each other out of it though.

What a shame - follow link: LINK

Here's a hint - one of the top five has a broken femur.

Wow! That sucks! At least he'll get to turn the outdoor series upside down when he returns.

84? Noob.

It's Villapoto's turn. Last season was, then injury. Now it's time, but he sure isn't making it easy on himself.

I'm leaning towards Barcia in Lites.

By the way, the "Lites" term is stupid now. Perhaps it made sense when there were 2-smokes in the class with the 4-strokes, but that's over. Call the classes what they are: 450 and 250. Or, because the oddball stroker-based engine allowed in the 450 class, just call it Open like was done for a million years when speaking of anything beyond 250. Anyway...

I agree! I hate the class terms. Lites and Supercross is just plain dumb!

+1

Well now Villopoto just needs to keep Dungey checked, Reed and Bubba Cop will be taking each other out, unless they start crashing into Villo.

it's been a good season thus far....I'm behind with the races, but they are on the DVR when I get to them! Don't remember which one I watched the other night, but Bubba and a handful of riders looked like they had a horendous crash right at the beginning. Racing, gotta love it!

IMO ... James "Bobble" Stewart not winning every race keeps it exciting. I'm not a "Cry Baby" Reed fan. I am fine with Villopoto (My fav), Dungy, or Canard taking it. And lites I'll take Hansen in the West. His mind is finally on racing & Barcia in the East. I always root for my Tx boy Blake Whorton but I think he lacks the points.

My first Supercross experience was in the Astrodome 1978! I never miss!

Contracts to Barcia, I have to say I was rootin for Tomac but he couldn't hang on . Glad Stewart was Stewart but felt bad for K dub. Wanted Reed to win it all but at least he went out with a win and it was a good season for Vip. He deserved it after having a dnq and still being in the fight.

I was bummed for Tomac, too. Lappers. Add Windham to the ever growing list of riders that Stewart has taken out. Also, as much as I like Carmichael (used to hate him), he is horrible on the mike. Apparently, his mother left grammar out of his home schooling regiment.
