The basic motorcycle wave / taken waaaaay too far

You know when you're just riding around town and you'll point to another rider to say hi, or you just take a hand off the clutch and jesture towards them. Why do some folks try to make an art form out of this?????????

I was riding back from the Gym and I see an R6 (2-up) coming the other direction at a 4-way stop. I stop at the sign and point towards them to say .
The both in unison (like they've been working on this at home) do some funky low swoop and point in my way, like they were in softball fast finger pitch :confused1

All I could think was WHY!

don't they know the coolest way to say hello is to just casually throw your clutch hand out there and maybe give a peace sign, maybe; it's not like your auditioning or going to get an award for the coolest hand gesture.

what is wrong with having your own signature moves? As long as it is understood for what it is then it's fine.

What is the deal with those owners? They always think that they are fast and special. I showed a few of those guys what fast is and they know better not to mess with a sportbikes, again.:BangHead:

I want to show the custom bikes people the same. Just because you have a sixty thousands dollar bike doesn't mean it is fast. Straight away or corners, bring it on!

Just wave? lol moto-cops do better than that! I was crusing home one morn in my car about 1mile from home on the freeway and one pulls up next to me to match the speed(85mph). My windows usually are down or cracked half the way and I heard somebody say, "Going a little fast aren't you?" I was thinking, 'My inner voice?' I looked to my left, still keeping the speed and said, I am sorry what did you say and he said it again . I oppologized and let off the gas, LOL. So a wave is prob low end on their arsenal.:notworthy

yeah I was rolling like 90 down I 10 and one came up next to me and I had my windows down and this was in my old car and with the turbo and the 3" catback I never heard him... and then he had a horn on there that sounded like a firetrucks horn and he just rolled up right next to me and nailed it it was so ****ed loud I just about my pants. and I looked over and he waved his hand back like "slow down" and I thought he was pullin me over but he just nailed the throttle and took off. Maybe on his way home....
