Fun just to look right now

I went to Honda West to take a look at the new bikes~ mainly interested in the Interceptor and the F4i. Though I'd like a rr, I just feel obligated take my kids for a ride now and then, besides I have a racebike for going fast. All bikes are fast anyway give or take a second. I don't ride fast on the street.

As enticing as the new bikes are, I don't think I would ever buy new. But some of the Used bike prices are up there even with moderately higher milage than I would like.

I'm in no hurry, though some cooler weather is soon to be here!

The Interceptor: is really cool except for its weight (500ish), but love the underseat exhaust, even has a centerstand! and if I'd want to take a trip should be fairly comfortable, but the gas milage wasn't what I was thinking it should get(about 36ish). I like the solo seat adapter; makes the bike look sporty! Many of you know all my Best bikes are YELLOW! and they don't offer yellow, so I'd have to take it apart and make it yellow! The motor probably runs very smooth being a V4. Can get used for about 6-7k. A "pre-owned" would probably be more taken care of since being sport touring.

F4i: I hate its exhaust~ a big gaudy low hung can! Do they do it on purpose so you have to buy an exhaust system!! The seat would accomodate my daughters (one at a time of course), but they don't offer the seat cover for the back portion making it appear solo. When I'm riding alone, the bike needs to appear solo as in just me, myself, and I riding it! I'm not sure about its smoothness of the motor as I'm looking for the most vibrationless engine possible. And would it carry my 200lb+ husband without too much strain?
Not too sure of the prices (new is 8400) (interceptor about 10k).

But I said I'm not buying a new one; I want a deal baby!!
Anyone here own an Interceptor?
"" "" F4i?

Opinions always welcome!

Intercepter has my vote as a sport touring bike. Zx14 is my other choice.
