That's when men were men and GP riders were rock stars. I have often thought that if Roberts would have stayed stateside, or had never existed, Sheene would have been a 4-time champ instead of a 2-time champ Sheene was, by all accounts, more fun to hang with, too. I always liked Wil Hartog, too. Super clean look, super clean rider.

BTW, I have Silver Dream Racer on VHS. Crappy movie, other than the footage, which is wonderful.

another who proved that body position isn't the be all and end all, great rider

man you have , you must be the only person EVER who has admitted to having a copy

I didn't think for a second anybody would pick up on that, did you see who was riding the bike??
I loved the film back in the day, even painted my RD250DX silver and would hum "I'm a dream" on my way to the grocery store
