Anyone who buys a 4 door porsche deserves to drive a gremlin. Porsche makes perfomance sports cars, not luxury sedans.

On a side note at least its not your forks or frame (hopefully) Its gonna be hard to get any legal action or money because it happened in a parking lot and its he said, no he said sorta deal. Sucks bro!

If it's a panamera on the west side, he most likely got it from global imports or momentum Porsche. I see one now and then, if I see it today I'll get info.

No, but he is the regular officer at sherlocks, i'm sure they can tell me.

No reason to call the cops at the moment of the hit. It seemed like he was going to take care of it, after a few moments, that's when I told my friend that was in a car behind me to flag a cop down in the parking lot. That's when the off duty cop came and basically was like. "man, you guys need to settle this out yourselfs, i need to go home" At this point I had the guys Ins info in my hands, the cop asked to see it, and asked him for the ID and then after a quick inspection. GAVE IT BACK TO HIM.

Since the guy was still parked at the exit of the parking lot, the cop told him to move out of the way, I pulled my bike to the side by some parking spots.

This is where I started to get an uneasy feeling and told my friend to keep an eye on him, no more time i say that and I see him drive off (my friend in trying to chase after) I call them and tell them to call and report it, put on helmet and chase after.

The only place he could have ended up was on the Beltway feeder, so I haul after them, and off in the distance I see police lights, I think I might be lucky and they stopped him for speeding.

But no, it was a traffic stop, so I flag one of the 6 cops that was there and they basically tell me that I can report it, pay on my insurance deductible $500 for a piece that might be less. They asked me everything you guys did, but I didn't have it. So they told me I was basically SOL because that really wouldn't help them much, no name, no tag #, only description.

So, they kinda talked me out of doing the report with them, but my friend did call it in, when I got home I called the non-emergency number for HPD and their story was similar... That's why I have yet to report it.

That was my reasoning behind just not taking his money on the side of the road, it might just look like cosmetic but his freaking car pulled my bike down a bit. I told him that I rather an adjuster look at it then just make judgement on the side of street.

That really sucks, but I'm not sure you can do much.

Even if you find the guy, he will deny it happening and you will have a hard time proving he ran over your bike.

You could take him to small claims, but that will cost you a $100 just to file...

Not worth it for a fender...

Sucks.

We had a couple out on the lot last week, Ill go see if theyre still there and start doing my part, haha.

Sucks what happened bro, hopefully something will come of this though. Did you check around the parking lot to see if maybe any cameras were out there maybe pointed in that direction? Go over there for lunch and look for some cameras, hopefully if there are any, the business owners will help you out, and if not, call me up and Ill come with you tonight.
