slim hid conversion kit

so what are some pro's and con's about the HID conversion kit on a bike? I mean I have it on my car and big difference since I have the 10k bulbs on there.. but I was thinking of getting 8k bulbs and the slim hid conversion kit for the bike.. good idea?

would it burn the head light since the light is constantly on when you have the bike on?.. and would the lens start to chance color after a while? like that yellow burn or something that some ppl with HID's have on thier cars

I swapped to a 55watt 4.5k bulb, its been a month now and i have no bubbles or marks. Its stock, no tint.

Where are you guys picking up these HID kits? Ebay?? I'm thinking of getting HIDs for my bike. Either that or some Osram Rallye 65w Ultra High Output H7 Special-Service Bulbs

I would recommend you get the wiring harness they sell too. Bikes wiring is usually too small and could cause problems on start up.

+1 From www.ddmtuning.com Ive ordered well over 20 kits from them in the past year. Good quality HID kit with probably the lowest price you will find online.


They have a section just for motorcycles, and they also include with some orders the little adapter piece that goes behind the bulb.

I got mine from ebay, gixxerboyz was the seller I think, they were very easy to install, they even came with a couple leds that go next to the headlight. Had them about a yr and no probs so far and they're way brighter than the stock lamps
