Red light camera ticket

Hi guys

A friend got a red-light camera ticket in sugarland/stafford. Does she have to pay? I thought they got rid of the red light camera?
Thanks

Apparently they didn't get rid of the red light cameras if your friend got a ticket from it

Its not a moving violation and will not effect your "friend's" driving record, however it can go to collections and jack with your "friend's" credit. Pay it or fight it, but dont just ignore it.

Red light cameras tickets are only illegal in the cities that explicitly voted to ban them. Sugarland is not one of those.

How is a red light ticket not a moving violation? Just curious.

Might you be able to use the precident that Houston did to turn them off to get her off the ticket? Might start doing your homework on how Houston got them turned off.
