Best Sounding Engine?

What engine do you think sounds the best?
This can be any engine in any vehicle.

My vote is the CBX

I'm old school, i love the sound of a crisp 250cc 2 stroke MX bike engine.

I don't know about the best sounding, but the new Aprilia V4 with the Austin Racing exhaust sounds pretty badass.

All great sounding bikes above. I'll add Goose's Kawasaki Z1000...the sound of idle + high revs are from 2 different worlds!

In tv I always liked the 2 stroke motogp bikes but in person the 990 4 stroke was about the coolest mc engine I've ever heard.

Porches 917 (at 3:40) or the Ferrari from this film are right up there for my favorite engine sounds, but if you ever went to Indy back in the 60's, the Novi had a bad sound, but that is really old school.

Honda RC161, but someone beat me to it as posted above. In the bike realm, nothing better to me than a properly tuned, flat slided, air cooled Ducati Desmodue (like in the Bimota). Mechanical and real.

For cars, there are too many to list. Guy in the area has a V12 Aston that freaking gives me chills every time he cracks a shift off. V12 Ferrari as well.

Oh yeah, a 1985 and similiar vintage (now) Ford 5.0 like I had in my ex-DPS car. Still like those with a good exhaust.

I'm probably alone in this, but my absolute favorite sound is a High compression modular DOHC ford 4.6 with an H pipe, and flowmasters. Something about the weird burbly, hollow-sounding idle I absolutely love.

As for motorcycles, I think the V4s are just so brutal its great. A close second is the crossplane R1.
