Yeah, we all do it. Been thinking about getting a gear indicator but I don't think that would stop me. I'd just say to myself, "That doesn't look right," and try anyway.

I know your pain. With the V-Twin in the SVS & the Transmission gearing ( after having a inline 4 for so long) makes me always think i am 5th and after trying to find 7th a couple times i realize i'm already in 6th.
