Andy at Metric. He works on my stuff and is the only one I allow to work on the Bimota now. He is an MV dealer, has a machine shop and dyno on site. Knows his stuff. Fair warning, he doesn't tolerate people talking out of their @$$ very well...just sayin.

http://www.metricmotorcycles.com/

Click on projects and you can see his motard he built that I was lucky enough to grab recently.

I have sat on the Brutale, but have yet to ride one yet. I'm a cheap and buy used bikes mostly, but I am looking forward to the demo ride Andy offered. I may have to bend the rules a bit if I like it.

Go by and check them out, freaking beatiful bikes in real life.

Side note: I would imagine Patrick at Motorcycles Unlimited can handle servicing them also.

Yeah, that's why I am cautious to take one for a spin, I might just have to buy one!

Bastid!

Just buy it and get on it with it. The with everyone's opinion. If you are buying an Eyetalian bike based on others' opinions, then my thought is that you are missing out on the whole deal about an eyetalian bike like the MV. My Bimota is a pain in the most days, and it's worth every pain in the moment when I am running it hard and grinning. The MV is so well designed from what Andy was telling me, I imagine the pain in the moments are few and far between verus what I have dealt with.

Any bike that has RR after it, has got to be worth it.

YEAH - that bothers me too. Sometimes "blue" is my fav flavor...but other times I'm like, "hey...this isn't the blue I wanted". Weird!!

I'd never buy a Duc. Much rather have the M4 but I doubt i'd spend the money on that either.

Worth it? No, but that completely misses the point.
