and what's up with busa riders lately? the last 10 or so busa riders i've seen lately doesnt wear any gear (besides gloves) or a helmet.
i mean is it cool to ride a bike without a helmet or something? i know i'm guilty of riding without gear sometimes but without a helmet? seriously?

(its still a GIXXSSTERR)

Wait a minute. How do you know it wasn't Darwinism at work?

And on that note I have been made fun of since I wear a bright neon yellow jacket while riding (sorry I like to be seen when riding)
I also have been told that not wearing your gear makes you look really really really cool.
Hope he has a speedy recovery

We'll see if he learned his lesson

He gets to enjoy the embarrassment and medical bills

Hope he heals well and best of luck

Helmets are for the ugly and its getting too hot even for a mesh jacket!

I hope the friend of the OP gets a speedy recovery! I am sure he will be wiser, unfortunately he had to pay to learn

that's pretty much what my friend's friend did...except it is a cbr1000rr as a first bike... guy said "it's way too good of a deal to pass up; and it shouldn't be that bad. besides i rather have power to get in front of traffic because a 250 is slow and the 600 is expensive compare to this deal"

To each his own. I also had a friend find an '01 R1 for a deal "too good to pass up"
Wasnt long before i heard all the stories of how fast it was and how fast it went
Luckily He got rid of it before anything bad happened.

Well, you're not alone - you have at least one other nerd in the bright neon yellow jacket club here! Love mine.
