Rider Down..My neighbor

Found out yesterday that my neighbor crashed his bike Sunday evening.

Details.

New rider (no MSF) on a lowered busa that he just bought from ANOTHER neighbor of mine.
was not wearing gear or a helmet.
was riding on old tires.
he's lucky to be alive.

AFAIK, he has a broken leg and arm, and some wicked Rash. No head injuries thank .

he is currently in the hospital recovering. wish him luck.

-B

P.S--> I know, he stacked the odds against himself. Plz no trolling.

You should have pleaded a stronger case for gear (that is if you even knew he had a bike) but then again shoulda, coulda, woulda... People will take their risks..and do what they want.

Good thing this one didn't cost him his life. Speedy recovery to him.

Sorry to hear about your neighbor, how old?

i spoke to him briefly about his bike, and advised gear, safety and new tires.

at the end of the day, i am a firm believer in free will. it was his decision.

best of luck to him.

I don't know, but you sure don't want Walker Texas Ranger to enforce them

this is exactly what i was thinking..

hope he has a speedy recovery

and what's up with busa riders lately? the last 10 or so busa riders i've seen lately doesnt wear any gear (besides gloves) or a helmet.
i mean is it cool to ride a bike without a helmet or something? i know i'm guilty of riding without gear sometimes but without a helmet? seriously?

Correct me if i'm wrong but if he was a new rider - isn't msf mandatory before getting a class M license? assuming he has one.

hope for speedy recovery.
