Looks to me like the busa was doing fine slowing down to avoid the stang right until he grabbed too much brake and threw it down.

It does seem a little problematic to run cars against bikes but a lot of places do it.

The bike was slowing down due to the stang crossing lanes? Can't tell, but if so, that could have just as easily been a bike loosing it and crossing lanes too. Could have had the same results. Racing is a risk.. Glad the guy got up quickly.. But don't think it being a cage had anything specific to do with it. Although a great risk running someone that can launch like that because he has even less control.. Should had a wheelie bar.. probably would have kept it on the track right. It probably started because they were compairing nuts on the sideline and said "F* it.. let's race" thinking they were on an episode of PINKS All Out or something.. lol

I run cars all the time out in Sealy(Lonestar Motorsports Park), never any issues (knock on wood), I run in a Street Stock and Jackpot race and its usually 1-2 bikes vs 10 cars, so you end up lining up with a car 90 percent of the time anyway.

Mathews has a vid here just like that one here somewhere. He grabbed front brake at the end to avoid breaking out. He went down. Sealy allows it. Im pretty sure HMP does as well.
