if i counted right

if i counted right 3 riders lost there lives this weekend. baytown, i-10, and fairbanks. not sure just what i read offline. the guy that lost his life on fairbanks i had just met, great guy, couldnt happen to a nicer man. he will be missed by his friends and family. and the others may take care of them and there greiving families.

indeed. unfortunately its that time of the season. lots of new riders. lots compromising how much gear they wear due to Texas weather. and of course just plain old bad cagers out there.

The guy with the half face helmet was a shame.They wear those useless things cause they look cooler with the cruiser bikes. I dont give a how hot it gets, I wear as much gear as possible.

Sometimes all the gear in the world will do nothing for you like the guy that got run over by the semi. I know I am just stating the obvious.

Agreed- its that time of season! I'm forcing myself to be extra vigilant, as well as restraining myself when I ride on the street.

My riding is the ONE thing I have a bit of control over, so I try to make that factor a non-issue.

unfortunetly, MY riding ability is the least of my worries when out riding. the other asshats surrounding me is my biggest danger.
