I wish my GSXR 1000 could switch. Maybe I could scare my wife into not riding ever again. I really like my solo cowl.

Nice thread.. well I rode from the west coast Ventura Cali to Houston, TX in 34 hours. Took breaks for gas and a couple rest stps to sleep on the bike and through the rain. I believe thats 1686 miles in a lil over a day n a 1/2. I rode my 1995 Honda CB 1000 . no fairings . The wind was the main thing that i fought the whole way. Drank Red Bull the whole way and when I got here and tyried to sleep it felt like I was still on the bike. Rough ride but I've done it several times since the 1st and it got better.

Did Houston to Angle Fire, NM with a couple detours in one sitting, 942 miles, on my ZX-14. The total trip which included Colorado, Utah and Arizona totaled 5,500 miles in 9 days. I started on new tires and had to buy a new set of Pilot Powers on the 6th day.

Did Grand Junction, CO to Houston non-stop and the return trip also non-stop twice on my Road King. That is just over 1,100 miles each way.

The Harley, with its big comfy seat and windshield was more comfortable but the 14 was tons more fun in the mountain twisties.

I will do 400 mile days... about twice a month. I still have to return to san marcos for testing, and each time I go I ride my favorite route which takes the long way from new braunfels to austin to hit lime creek and then continuing on until marble falls. then freeway back to san marcos to pass out. Testing the next morning and then riding back a day or so later after partying up

in total quite a few hundred miles and about 12 hours of seat time.

I hope you did 141 by Grand Junction. That was my favorite road in Colorado.
