Three Twisted Sisters

If you guy's haven't heard about Three Twisted Sisters, it's basically three long twisty roads in Texas that a lot of riders (sport bikes and harleys as well) like to travel. I was lucky enough to go with some friends this past weekend and I had a blast. It was my first group ride AND twisty ride so I was a bit nervous but I did fine. I actually learned a few things I could use on the track as well. If you guys ever get the chance, go out there and ride the Three Sisters (335, 336, 337) near Kerrville, Texas. Here are some pictures I took this weekend.

Side note: I swear I was the ONLY Asian in that town. I was pretty scared a few times when I walked into a bar and everyone was..... not an Asian.

Yeah, I'll for sure be going back since I'm slightly more familiar with the roads now.

As a first-timer, what kind of pace did you keep? Especially on 337?

I don't remember which was which but the straighter roads and wider turns I was averaging about 90. Up the mountains I was going about 40 because it was pretty scary lol.

If the sign before the curve says 20mph. Do 20mph till you learn the roads. If you wreck in some of those curves it is a LONG fall

LOL yeah, our leader kept saying "If it's under 20mph, THEY MEAN IT"

Yup. Exactly right. Personally, I don't go too nuts out there. Too expensive for me these days. You know how it is... one ticket too many. It's good to be informative because that is such a great place to ride it would be a shame to get it shut down or be enforced out of there.

I see you got a ticket. Where was that sneaky hiding?!?!

Yeah for sure, let me know if you have basic questions but there are more experienced people here who have been there plenty of times to help you with the more advanced questions.

I was riding 337 from Bandera and was hit just before you start heading up into the hills. FYI they sit on each side of the hill.
