exhaust question

i had to take off my exhaust and send them back to m4 cause they were pitting and i cant find my stock pipes will it hurt the bike if i ride it without exhaust just using it to go 30 miles to work on tuesday and then coming back its an 09 busa.

, people do it all the time when they add those ugly nasty slash cut tips. It may run a little leaner, but I doubt it will fug it up.

i doubt for the amount of time be running it that way, that it will do any damage. But again Why risk it? To each his own. Not to mention the sound coming from it will not only give you and every one around you a headache but will also grab the attention of every avail cop in the area.

yes i will...lol

i don't know busas but on my 6 i could run no slip on but i have a cat just before the muffler and honeycomb in my headers but im sure you'll feel the low end power lose from no Backpressure

i see a honey comb inside my header but bluewave is gonna see if he has the inserts i found my stock pipe but im missing the sleeve on the inside that keeps it tight.

I used to run some ghetto hotbodies exhaust tips on my 08 and had mine dyno'd the same time Joe and Bluewave did. This was quite some time ago...so all three bikes were pretty light on mods. Mine was a fair amount lower in hp and suspect it was because of that. Loud as wfo and pretty much the same as running no exhaust. I ran those for probably the first 5,000 miles or so. Fun but definitely slower than running a full pipe and pc.
