Talking The ride of your wet dreams....

Not sure when I'm gonna try to take this on but those of you in the Austin and surrounding areas should check this route out.

route
***yeah you seeing right...those are curves bebe

I'm going to be taking it from belton so here is the route I'm taking - which is another 30 miles (give or take) of pure curves which will bring the total amount to about 90 miles or so:

35S/ FM 2843 W/ FM 487 W/ FM 195 S/ FM 970 W/ FM 183 S/ FM 1431 W - until Marble Falls....

It's a long one, is without a doubt a nice ride...The ride runs along Lake Travis for a bit.

Only dangerous if you "make" them dangerous...

The people who live along Lime Creek are not to found of bikers. They tend to make things dangerous at times as well.

May be better now. Couple of years ago a buddy of mine had some issues on a ride out there.

oh, is 1431 lime creek? had always heard about lime creek and wanted to do it... i did 1431 on my way back from hill country. awesome road, though it was almost dark by the time i hit it.

and cajulsoulja, if u go upto llano doin 1431, then try doing willow city loop too (off the fredericksberg-llano road). more for cruiser types, but wat an awesome place to ride. very diff from usual.

Hmm...craziness. Well then I'll carry my Walther with me and if I get cut off/ran off road/or any other nonsense...I'm installing new ventilation in cars....

So what do you folks think? Anybody else hear about the anti-moto sentiment in this area? Ever rode this road? (I love homonyms...) Know anything about it ? Any crazy, off-the-wall comments ? Suggestions for an MSF refresher course? ...
