The road to lime creek

Hey guys this would be my first post here on Motohouston. Me and a few other friends came up with an idea during spring break on which roads to hit. I live in Houston so we would have to ride a great length to see some real roads.

First road we hit was FM1291. This road continues to Fayeteville with very nice curves. Recommended if you are traveling to austin from the east side of texas. After completing this section of the trip we head up to Austin.

Beautiful tuesday to ride TX-71 just didn't like all the bugs smearing on my visors! As we approach our destination, we slowed considerably.

Lime Creek: Ride it slow and enjoy the view!!!
Here is the google map I created for this trip:

That is all I have for now, considering this was our first road trip together there will be more to come. Hoping to go ride the three sisters this summer, heard this road is the best in texas!

On another note. I have this class project video assignment and was wondering if you all could support me and watch it. The more views I receive the better chance my team would get full points.

How did you plan for it? Did you make it a 2 day trip? I'm very interested on what the road conditions are like.

Lime Creek was awesome. Rode it in both directions last night. I don't think it's as dangerous as babymilo36 implied in his Twisted Sisters thread. I can see it being dangerous for the high speed runners because those curves can be misleading but this was a great road. Amazing scenery. Don't need to reach triple digits to enjoy this fun fun fun road.

Lime creek is now my favorite place to ride.
