Zealots scare the living bejesussu out of me.

They are ready to do anything in the name of , hence the "war" we have going on.
And something just really REALLY disturbs me to see a child, who should be innocent, and having fun, taking on the worlds problems as if they were 40yr old people

What's YOUR definition of innoncence?

Also, I think the lady in the clip had a GREAT point in that the [muslim extremist] children are going to camp to learn how to hold a hand-grenade.

When I look at religion, and trace it all the way back to king edward taking it over so he could do as he pleases, I makes me not trust it.

as far as Im concerned, love the lord, do as the bible says, not what a bunch of people running around telling you what you should do, and stop trying to ****ing take over the world by converting everyone! (this goes to all religions)

Although it's true, I don't know how that is a great point. It's a bit of brainwashing on both sides. :dontknow: First quote in my sig.

So, again... what's YOUR definition of innocence?

innocence of a child? well i defintally dont think its what those kids are. the idealistic views of the parents have been pushed on them. Yes, they most likely will grow into right doing adults...but frankly its just a little creepy seeing a kid trying to rally a small "revolt" against the wrong dooers of christianity

im not trying to on anyones religion, but in my views, I belive it relies on the person itself, to READ the bible, decipher what it means, lead your life in the right direction. Yes I do belive you should try to teach people to be good as well, to not want to sin and such...but really, some of the tactics I see of churches is just as close (but not as sadistic) as the other relgions we are "fighting"

Just my opinion... I AM a believer that Christ died for my sins. Although I'm not very good at it, I try to live as He lived. I'm not sure I would send my kids to that camp as I think they are a little too "fire and brimstone" for my taste. I do, however, have both of my kids in a Christian private school so they can learn Christian principles and also be believers. Brainwashing, it's not.

That would be my choice, but no that is not necessary. No need for the extremism and intolerance for people who don't believe the way you do. That is my main gripe about religions. Christians and Muslims especially.

just my .02

thats the view I agree with. whenever I have kids, I hope to do the same thing, because being a student of public school...well....lets just say even I suprised myself how well adjusted I came out. I cant say the same for more then half the kids ive seen, a few years later.

My son was in public (charter) school for a week until we yanked him and sent him tot he same school as his sister. He wasn't learning SQUAT while he attended every day of the week all day while his sister learned 10x's as much even though she's a grade behind him and attended 3 half-days/week. That's crazy.

i dont see the diff. between goin to private school and public schools. i have lil cuzns that r whores and they went to private school, sneeking out of the house at 12 and 14 to go see lil boys and be stupid, doin drugs... i went to public school, and i never did eny thing like that. yes i have a kid at 19 but i never did drugs and so forth... its all on how u raise ur kids not on where they go to school or what place u raise them in, if u live in a good or bad neighborhood, sendin kids to "jesus camp" for what??? to brainwash them? ide send my kid to sunday school or somethin like i use to go to but nothin like that.

The difference between public in private is what one learns - if they CHOOSE to learn. I just witnesses that first-hand and as a parent. You're right in that the way the kids act in and out of school is the responsibility of the parents. Plus, some kids are just plain smarter and have more common sense than others.
