Repsol dude had a few close calls too..I could tell he hated the corners...i thought he would b the first one to go down...Raiel (Ninja 250) got better with every corner.

not dissing anyone...I know a lot of bikers that dislike twisty roads..they prefer the straight and less technical roads...just a matter of preference.

I love the tight corners..more than the fast sweepers....

I was surprised and glad that he stayed up....also good call on moving Alex's girl to the back of blackwidow...i was praying for the poor girl. Repsol man with a wounded girl on FM1291 was not going to be the best option.

I just put my pics on my desk top and go to photobucket.com
If you have not been on photobucket you will have to start a password and email address etc. Then you just up load your pics off of the desk top.
Then copy the code under the pics on photobucket and paste in the new reply box.
Preview your post before you submit it to see if you are doing it right.

I still have about an inch of clean tire on both sides I was loving those corners, after a while I had an internal monologue talking me down from faster corner entry. Walk... then run.

I can't wait for the next one, the only downside was the ride back. An hour on 290 near the limiter in 6th gear was bad. It took me a day to get feeling back in my hands

rael..get the heaviest bar-ends you can find or make..it helps reduce handle bar viberations greatly....also, practicing cornering in an isolated parking lot would be benificial ...just getting the feel of transfering your body weight from side to side and throttle control exiting corners..

Or a trackday. GSS has a special class just for lightweight bikes.

I'm going to look into bar ends ASAP, the vibration was that bad over time. I've yet to incorporate body movement into my turning, though that is certainly the next step. I also figure that the more I corner the more I'll be comfortable throttling up earlier in the exit.

GSS looks like great fun, but unfortunately my wife and I are going out of town that weekend.

I also looked up the dr-z400SM Jim, and it is pretty intriguing. It looks like it would scratch any back-road itch.
