RIP at i45 parkplace/broadway

I only got a quick glance but look to be like a 06+ zx10r green and 18wheeler. Didn't see an ambulance but did see a coroner van out there...

I work down the street and do remmber seeing one roll by every now and then. Hope it isn't him.

Rider slid up under the 18-wheeler. Driver didn't know a rider was there and the truck wheels ran over the rider. Rider died at the scene

RIP, really need to watch those 18-wheelers out there, pass with hi-beams on, tap horn if necessary, get by them as quick as you safely can, etc.

There are instances such as this, and those tires are known to let go with a LOT of force...a flying tire tread can make for a REALLY bad day for a motorcyclist.

RIP. Sounds like the rider was at fault.

Article...

A motorcyclist died in a traffic crash when he lost control and collided with a big rig near Interstate 45 in southeast Houston early this morning.

The crash occurred on Broadway near the Gulf Freeway about 6:20 a.m. Thursday, according to the Houston Police Department.

The man’s name has not been released.

Police said the man was in a U-turn lane on Broadway beneath the freeway when he lost control and slid into the 18-wheeler.

The truck driver stopped.

I wonder if he came into the U-turn too hot and found the truck there.. laid it down and slid up under the truck...

RIP and lets be careful out there folks! The life you save may be your own.
