My 2006 R6 goes to 20,000 rpm not 15,000. He listed a local phone number.... if he is really local you should able to contact him to look at it in person.
Here is a link to a stock 2006 gauge cluster. http://www.bluegauges.com/images/tac...6_R6_stock.jpg

thought so. I dont even want to mess with it, i'm sure its been laid over, its go no exhaust and the wrong cluster in the picture. not worth even messing with.

i let my friend contact the guy. he called me back and said the guy was REALLY shaddy, said he said nothing was wrong, even went as far as saying the title miles match up with the guage cluster miles, and it had a clue blue title. if the cluster doesn't even belong to that bike.. how could the title have the miles listed on the cluster? that makes no sense. he also refused to give the vin to my friend to do a check on it. he doesnt need an r6 as a first bike anyways so better for him i supose.

I could be wrong, but I doubt just the gauge cluster is gonna prevent the bike from going over 15k RPM. I would guess it just pegs out the needed.

You would really take the time out of your day to go drive to the guy and look at the bike just to do this? I can think of tons of better things to do with my time then that. You need a hobby dude.
