it will be a bakc up track bike to my '04. but like all things it wil lcome a time to sell it and i would get a better price for it with a clean title than a salvage title. i guess ithought all new frames had new vin numbers on them.

Most track bikes are salvage bikes.
, half of them don't even have titles; lost, never transferred through 4 owners, made up from different bikes etc.

Believe it or not, on most racebikes clean title don't mean much. A GMD certification means more, but who wants to spend for that?

I believe you will receive a manufactures title and it will be engraved with that number. Keep that with your receipt handy incase you sell the track bike. All one would need really.
