cashtown owning your own business is great but its more full time then any full time job. first find an existing space with low low $ per sq foot as well as sick low triple net included. you want to spend as far under $10 sq ft as possible.
you have to understand that even if your bar is busy it doesnt mean your making money hand over fist. TAXES will kill you. each month you pay 14% of all liqour, beer and wine sales. when you pay rent and all the bills that 14% will get you. also each quarter you pay taxes to.
my advice is dont do it right now. you need to have one of a nest egg to fall back on and have alot in the business account when you open and Im not talking $1000. you need to open the door with at least $450 for each bar drawer $2000 in safe and around $10000 in the checking just for the business.
Times are so up and down right now I would wait for some economic stability first.
Ill help you with any thing you need to know.
