You were responding to someone who was against what Pyrogenic proposed saying that the government should be involved. As you offered no other suggestions, it would imply that you were in favor of what Pyrogenic proposed.

I can't help that you misinterpreted a post that wasn't a reply to you.

I can't help that dat dere UT edumuhcashun can't help you form a coherent point or keep up with the conversation at hand. So far everyone who was quoted your post (that was a post that wasn't a reply to you) believed the same as I did (that you were in favor of M endorsement requirements to purchase a bike), so it would seem the problem is on your end.

You're either truely too stupid to see that or trolling. Either way you're taking this way too far off topic, so I'm leaving it. Maybe you can try again in the other thread created for this topic.

Ah, so you hate on UT? Where did you go to school again?

I guess you missed this?

Can we all agree that what happened to this kid is regrettable? Can we agree that each of us wish that this did not happen to this young kid?

Whatever life saving wisdom was never imparted upon him by friends or through training ....or even possibly licensing requirement that might have prevented this young man from buying a bike we all STILL regret that this young man is injured. Right?

Is there anyone here who thinks he was just a dumb moron and that deserved what happened? Natural selection, survival of the fittest, whatever you believe, do you think we are better off for this mishap? Just come out and say it. I want to know who you all are.

My older brother is a HFD firefighter and EMT. He was off duty driving past the scene when it happened and stopped to help. He was telling me how the rider looked and he thinks that he is going to recover. He told me that the rider was awake at the scene and talking to him.

I think it's tragic that anyone gets injured in an accident regardless of the cause and have sincere prayers for this rider and his family.

Not all accidents can be prevented by having a license or training (example: me on 3090 and target fixation, 2 grand later and a permanently screwed up shoulder will attest to that. Lucky for me that's all that resulted.)

No one deserves a wreck or injury for ANY reason and this was not the place to talk about all this stuff (me included.)

Honorsdaddy, morvegil, bevo : sorry if I gave you something to squabble over with such gusto and sarcasm.

And to set the record straight, I believe some training is better than none, and everyone, anyone should have at least some operational knowledge of how to operate motor vehicles and other dangerous machinery before using it, especially when they will affect others on the road. That was my only point and it should have been made elsewhere.

To me it sounds like the rider was out trying to work on his skill, perhaps it would have been more appropriate somewhere else, but it doesn't seem he was doing anything "stupid" just out with friends trying to learn more... he learned the hardway, hope this getspassed him and gets better. I hope it has not turned him off to riding for good.

Good luck rider.

Everyone be safe.
