I buy and sell a lot of stuff. Many times you can not see in pics if a bracket is bent or a shifter or brake lever is "tweaked".

It sounds like this guy tried to pull a fast one. Tell him you want a full refund and send the parts back. There is no reason to use parts, there are many others out there that will sell quality used parts.

And yes, I have had to return a few rearsets.

This thread makes my head hurt. If you already asked for your money back and he agreed, AND he still has the right rearset then wtf are you waiting for? Send it back and hope to get your money. He already said he would give it to you, if at that point you don't get your money back then create a thread such as this. If I was the seller and I had already agreed to return your money, I wouldn't be in any hurry to send you the other half of the part. Why the would you make this thread while still in talks with the seller?

buyer beware!!!

I have purchased parts for my 60 year old car that didn't fit properly but IT WAS MY FAULT FOR COMPLETING A TRANSACTION THAT I WASN'T SURE OF. Guess what, the seller still has my money and I have new "garage art" on my walls and I learned a lesson. Hope you're not out too much money and you get your bike back on the road soon.
