Lets think about the OP's issue logically. He's 21 (or younger), he has a bike, he lives in Katy.

These are the facts.

Lets say you do ride down to Galveston, and are successful in your "holla-ing" attempt. What then? You think she's going to ride with you all the way back to Katy so that you can her down? You think she's going to give you a handsky while you're riding the seawall? You think you're going to have enough money in your pocket to get a hotel room?

In conclusion: wear the helmet, cuz nothing you want to happen is actually GOING to happen.

You forgot there is a possibility of her living close by, maybe lives alone or parents aren't home...after a ride, back to her place...

Even if this thread is just about tapped out, it did produce the seawall-drunk driver-motorcycle/seesaw anecdote. Also it plumbed the dynamics of full-face helmets and "holla-ing."

I considered that possiblity, but left it out of my summary for a few reasons:

1. I've never seen a hot girl that was actually FROM Galveston

2. Anyone actually from Galveston spends very little team on the beach to get holla'ed at

but I guess the uggos need a dirty dickin' every once in a while too. So you're right, I should have added that.

The dynamics of a 250 being ridden two-up for a distance greater than a block are also a factor.

Completely wrong buddy. UTSA is almost unrelated to UT austin, A&M Gtown is in the system with college station and Qatar. All 3 get the same ring and degree from Texas A&M University.

You seem to underestimate how many are down there with hotel rooms. I can see few have actaully had luck in Galveston. It is there for the picking.

I don't think being the owner of a Road Glide qualifies you to make these kind of claims.

Being the owner of an FLTR doesn't, you're right.

Knowing that you're even wondering if you should discard the lid just to "holla" at some on the seawall does give me all the information I need.

I'm not getting into a who rides better discussion, but I will tell you that Road Toad has no chicken strips....

Nah - not debating - just edumacating a noob on why he shouldn't underestimate a cruiser or a bagger.

I'm fully aware that with the right rider, a 250 will eat me alive if there are any twisties.

Every bike has its purpose...mine is great for a long road trip, but when I'm going to work every day, i wish it weighed about 500lbs less....
