I hope they spank JHo all season long. I can't stand his lil smug . And I'm not really surprised to see Rossi jump like that. He's the Dr for a reason. He's been holding back. I'm willing to bed he's got that Duc all figured out and has just been sandbagging.

the hondas are going to be hard to beat this year with stoner at the helm. Yammi's should put on a good showing as well. Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!!!

i can't wait for some good talking between the brit and the spaniard along with some good BBQ, and some of us will be lucky enough to witness this execution first hand, in person.

Take note that one of the above mentioned has kept his trap closed till the race is over!!

He's been injured. There's no advantage to sandbagging several seconds. In fact, when trying to setup the bike there's a disadvantage.

i think honda will run away with it based on their speeds but other than that, there will be a good battle for 3rd through 7th place.

Dirt, Street, Track, Dual Sport, I like em all.

I just hope no one runs away. Im excited about it. Wish MotoGP did two races like WSBK, I find myself wanting more racing after a MotoGP race.

I don't think we have a clue what's going to happen at this point. I think everyone is holding back a little for qualifying....

...This was just FP1 afterall...

For example, I know the Hector is fast, but third fastest???? LOL

Indeed.

OK, I'll start.

The Hondas are fast. I'm starting to believe what Rossi said about Stoner: he's a fast rider, but a development rider: he leaves ducati for a bike that's already "done" and immediately goes out and wins.

Rossi still struggling with the Ducati. If he makes it another 3-5 races without a finish on the box, I think I'm going to have to start believing that the ducati is just plain unridable.

SPEEEEZZ!!! Looking pretty good. I hope to see him fighting for a few podiums this year, but with 3 extremely fast factory hondas as well as Lorenzo............it WILL be a fight.

no I disagree about the duc being un-rideable.. there not having any issues winning races in wsbk, its gotta be how the bike is setup

spies looked good, wish he would have got a better start.. I think he would have finished better if so

stoner is a fast rider, all that time on a bike that was poorly setup and was able to ride around it and now on a bike like you said is setup you can see the difference

colin did great too, I am disappointed in hayden though :/

Watching Spies light up those rotors trying to out brake Rossi into turn 1 over and over was exciting. We were all cheering when he finally pulled it off, but looking back it was a tough right for Rossi and likely fatigue on his part with the shoulder is what allowed Spies to finally pull it off.

You do know that Duc pulled out of WSBK this year, right? There's only Checa on a privateer bike............a leftover '10 bike if I'm not mistaken, and yea he won the first two races. However, the GP bike has nothing in common with the WSBK bike.
