If you have them in your low beams you will probably not need to use your highbeams, they are that good. Plus when you use your highbeams it is because you want instantaneous bright light. Xenon takes a scond or two to "warm up" and produce the brightest light, rendering them useless for when you actually need bright light quickly.

I have been running DDM Tuning in my bikes since 06.

I remember you used to do that to me all the time, back when we used to ride together, but now you never call me anymore, so I never have high beams in my mirrors... I miss your high beams Floyd...

I forget who, but I remember riding with a small group that liked having leader and sweeper with highs on, just because it was easier to look in your mirrors and spot the guy with 2 lights vs. picking out an actual bike/rider to make sure the whole group made it through.
Thats what I usually do when I ride sweeper. I just forget to turn it off sometimes. Sorry to anyone if I caused any distractions.. During the day I ride with it to make myself more visible. On and off during the night to flash cagers who don't see me.

Most of the people I ride with have drag bikes, so we don't have mirrors. We all have hid's, and they're always on high beams. Cars in front always move aside, the people in the other lane know where coming, and on comming traffic has no excuse not to see us. Riding a motorcycle is all about making other drivers able to see you to keep you safe, so at night, that's the best way to do it.

I have pig spotters so I cant see directly behind me.

That is the only reason it doesnt bother me.

If you cant see well enough to ride w the low beam on:

1) slow the fk down

2) wear a clear visor

3) dont ride in low light conditions

I run High Beams almost always.

If I was in a group of people or sitting behind someone at night, I would turn em down. I hardly ride at night, so that hardly ever occurs.
