Arts & Crafts

So, I ordered a Honda Racing seat cowl for my bike. Iím thinking all I have to do is remove the pillion and replace it with the seat cowl. Wrong! Itís a freaking arts and crafts project. I had to cut out a template. Scotch tape the template to the protection tape. Then cut both the template and protection tape together. Clean various parts of the rear cowl with alcohol. Align the protection tape on the rear cowl and at the same time remove the adhesive backing. Attach the protection tape without it up. Measure , and attach protection rubber cushions onto various parts of the rear cowl. Pain in the but it looks good.

Gixxers come with the cowl from the factory, and you do only have to pull the seat.

Just saying.

Looks good!

Only a very small person can fit on the passenger seat part now though...
