I think that's stupid. WHY do that on that kida bike? becase it's cool?
kinda like taking a moped to the 1/4 mile track.
Bike is not made for that so why tear up the bike like that?
Also how would you have liked to be on the side of the road and have that 800lb bike come skidding towards you, scary.
Those guys are obvious locals and know those roads real well but why show off on a new goldwing?
just my 02 tho.
Yes been to the dragon and yes it's a blast. I am going to Eureka springs next weekend and after being to both The Eureka Springs area is WAY better.
and closer too.
be carefull on the dragon and try not to add to the "Tree of shame"

have heard that sound before and am guessing with all the other goldwings seen that the video guy is also on a wing and the sound is his floorboards scraping. Also the pipe sound to me is also goldwing sound.

just guessing thos

I've ridden with the guy on the wing at the gap and on other roads in that area. The lead guy has three cameras mounted on the Wing 2 looking forward, and 1 looking rearward, and he videos people riding at the gap - that's what he does for a living - it's his only job. He is an absolute bullet! The guy is extremely fast, and a very skilled rider - the hanging off is no show, it's for real. The scraping on a late model wing such as his (2002) is 1st foot pegs, then exhaust header parts. A wing does not have driver running boards, unless added aftermarket, his has the factory pegs (whats left of them). The passenger boards are way too high to drag. The bike you are watching "Yellow Wolf" has a full build Traxxion Dynamics front and a highly modded rear suspension also by Traxxion Dynamics, it has an aftermarket pipe, with an otherwise stock engine. His website is: yellow_wolf@bellsouth.net
