The highway department never does anything specifically for motorcycles. Maybe they're rumble strips to warn motorists to slow down

when I read the title I knew excatly what roads you were talking about. There have been ALOT of accidents in those 2 corners. My sister and her husband went off the road there as well taking down part of the fence. I think its for traction, I've been testing it with the beater. Its odd because its wavey at the beginning feels like your slipping but your not when I feed into the throttle the car doesn't understeer like I plan it to. My last car even with some S&S mods it still understeer a lil back when the roads where regularly paved.
I need to do some brake test and some wet road test. I only paid a G for the car, and have a truck to pull me out its the "property damage" I have to worry about. Im not speeding into the turn more like maintaining a set speed, but bumping up the speed about 5-7mph each pass. I am pretty sure its for better grip. But I will still slow down.

There lies the problem, some people don't so you have to idiot proof it. My sisters husband went off the road because he choked and slammed on the brake, which caused the car to understeer off the road. I agree its too dangerous for bikes.

While driving to LA from Vegas today, I noticed that most of the freeways here were also textured like this... me no like.
