ST. PATTY'S DAY SW MOTOHOUSTON SPORTS FANS-ESPN 97.5 THE TICKET LIVE RADIO SHOW

HEY GUYS,

So, My brother took over a bar in Sugarland on hway 6 and its called Gridiron Wings and Bar, was earlier called Buffalo Wings and Drinks. I'm gonna be managing it two days a week!!! Wow, can't wait to start. But anyways, since I've always seen bikers hanging out at bars wanted to see if all the people on the SW side of Houston (does not exclude the rest of Houston, yeah I want ya'll to come!!) would want to meet up on Thursday the 17th, at the bar for the St. Patrick's Day event happening there. ESPN radio 97.5 (The Ticket ) is hosting a radio show live from the bar hosted by Carl Dukes. Show's called 'The Drive.' It's going to be from 4-7 pm. The St. Patrick's Day celebration will go on at the bar from 12pm-2am. There will be a live band after the ESPN show.

Ya'll can come hang out, wouldn't recommend you riding, since there will be a lot of drunk people out there that night, but we can talk about doing a regular meet over there. Will need to talk to the landlord and owners about getting allocated parking.

But, I'm gonna need all the support I can get from my fellow MotoHouston members.
Please post advice, comments, love, hate, ideas, experience and whatever comes to your mind.

I will be attaching the poster for the event by tomorrow.
Thanks and lot of respect !
Sean

The bar is right on Highway 6 and Austin Parkway.

Sounds awesome but I'm kind of hesitant riding out when I know there will be a bunch of drunk drivers that night....

I met these cats the other day. Good dudes trying to do something for the MC community. I agree with milo, its a tough day to ride with it being amatuer night on the roads that night. I might cage it down there

This sounds Awesome!

We need more members to step up and try to help the community come together more and get some nice dicounts and love out of it...

Only thing killing it for me is the distance, but screw it, that's why we have bikes, Right?!

I had a good discussion with pachuco whose been in the bike scene and knows a lot more about bikes than me. He suggested we do a meet on Sunday afternoons, since that's a good day to ride. I can talk to the owner and set up specials for MH members and maybe get him to do a few prizes and giveaways for the best looking bikes out there. Let me know how that sounds to you guys.

I'm all for places that just have dedicated "bike" parking, lol. Guess im easy to please and don't care about the other stuff. As long as the food and atmosphere is good (sober for 4 months now), and a safe place to park, I will hang out all day!

Its like 150 bucks you buy it from the motogp site, and its streamed, so you would have to have some AV to hook up to the computer, and a decent internet connection.

*edit - I think they stream in 720p HD as well*

I thought Speed dropped it this year, or cut it in half or something?

Let me talk to him n find out if they can arrange for the MOTO GP. If we can vouch for a bunch of members to show up then probably yes. Also they got 3 huge projectors, so that'll make it a fun experience.
