Where can I run my bike to check it?

HI, it's been a while since I've been on here, but I've been having some problems with my newest bike! When at Cresson, it died for a couple seconds then began running again, then again on the straight and coasted back to the entry point. There it started up and I parked it. I had run three sessions without problems.

It took two gallons to fill it, but don't think it was out of gas. I don't know. But before I put it back on the track, I'd like to take it somewhere to run the heck out of it. I am installing a new fuel filter first.

The bike is track only, so I can't really run it on the street.
I'm in West houston, but can trailer it anywhere within reason.
Any suggestion?

Denee,
It maybe an electrical issue, possibly a loose ground. If you get time, bring it by and we can take a look at it for you.

Thank you Dancinman! I've never been to the Baytown track. What is it like?
In the meantime, I sent Patrick and email, and will take the bike over to him Tues, or Wed.
Still would like to know about the Baytown track though!

It's just a dragstrip. I doubt you will be able to find the problem there. It could be the tip over switch as well. Or a bad ground as Patrick suggested. I would just wait for the next trackday or take it to a huge parking lot.

Yeah, I was not going to advocate breaking the law but I would truck it out to a nice back road and give it a run for its money.
