chevy diesels are good ford and dodge own in my opinion. believe me i work on all three daily.

On ford the 7.3 has a problem with the cam sensors ****ing up alot. left side rear brake pads go out really fast on the 450s. wheels seals go out often

dodge has fuel pump problems and not much else.

chevy as soon as we bought them engine lights have been non stop and back to the dealer they go since they are under warranty. chevy has been the shittiest.

but i'd roll any one of them. because to be honest out of the big three they all have their problems. I like ford more to be honest because i have over head cams and not pushrods and i like more than 2 valves per cyclinder. yeah it's a stupid reason but i like technology more than old tech. sometimes i think if chevy could they would still have carbs. of course now i'm talking gasoline.

bottom line they all have problems but i've had more problems out of chevy than ford or dodge.
Ford doesn't use the 7.3 any longer. I believe it is a 6.5 liter that everyone hates.

it's the 6.0 liter that everyone hates. actually we've been having some real problems out of that engine. the 7.3 was only cam sensor and speed sonsor problems. but the 6.0 was been a bit of a problem but the 6.0 has a whole lot more get up and go than the 7.3 does. 6.4 liter will be out in '08 we'll see what happens with that one. :eh:

new diesels are that low-sulfer , because of the new epa regs. I think they are all going to have probs in 07.

cummins is owened by ford. dodge has a contract with ford not to use the cummins in thier 250-350 series trucks. in the 450 and up ford you can get a cummins though.

btw does anybody know of the rumer of dodge going to thier mercadies diesel. i just heard hear say no hard facts yet. i drive a 1993 dodge w250 4x4 turbo and love it. gets 20+ miles per gal. on the highway.

UGH, MUSTANG is the worst! A friend of mine has a new GT in white, with tints it loked pretty good, I was impressed. Then I sat in it and checked out the interior! Oh well, plastic everywhere. They do sound really good though, I hate to admit it.

Corvette is finally doing something right with the new z06, course they did their development testing in Germany on The Ring! Other than that, I think it was in 67 they built a few with 454's to try and compete with the Cobra (not mustang Cobra) in the 0-100-0 arena.

I admit, HP for $$ the American cars can put down the numbers. And if you want to go fast for not too much money, go for it. When it comes to making a quality interior and not be dependant on huge displacement for power well, it just doesn't happen. For well balanced performance, style, and a nice interior you need to look over-seas IMO. My friends 50th Aniv. SS for example, you would think this would be a little something special. Look at the interior door handle area, you see an exposed screw head. Even a Civic has little screw head covers to dress up the interior!

BUT! It all comes down to personal preference and taste. To each their own.

mustang gt 300hp for 25,000 best bang for buck period. you can easily get a extra 100 hp for 2 to 3000 tops. 400hp for under 30,000 admit it.

He's doing work on the highschool for a company. I think he has something to do with the plumbing of the new section of the building.. If you go down Bay area towards red bluff.. right as you cross the bridge by the HS look to the right on the dirt trail, you'll see that big ****in thing parked normally. He even lifted his, it's a monster.

Speaking of CL, everytime i see a bike i wonder if they're part of this site.. next time you see a silver tacoma with black rims and an Alpinestar sticker on the back window, chunk duece or somethin. I met someone at the apts on Wesley who was it?!
