prescription visors?

I was riding today with my visor open, and turned my head to check the other lane. Out went the glasses. I turned around but they had been run over

Is there anyone who makes visors with eye prescriptions?

I just started wearing glasses this year, when I realized I can't judge distances, which is important coming into a turn lol. I tried contacts, not for me, I hated it.

Optics would suck with the distance of the eye to the visor, and all the curve in a visor. Pm me if you need a good deal on a new pair.

I would talk to Mr. Magoo about this. I believe he had a prescription windshield in his car. His nephew secretly had them installed because he was scared for his Uncle Magoo's safety.

I can't put my helment on with that type of sport glasses due to elastic strap behind head.

im considering a flip up helmet for my next lid. i hate the added bother that glasses brings to motorcycling.

I honestly think you gave up the idea of contacts too soon...

they are never comfortable in the beginning - but give it a week and you should get used to takin em out and putting em in...

i still remember the first time i used contacts - i wasted more tear drops than i did when i was a kid and cried.. lol

but seriously - the eye is very sensitive since its not used to it being touched.. but gradually it gets used to it - the more you use it - the more "norm" it becomes...

Even if you are asian (cuz they have smaller eyes) - it should not be any trouble at all.. my ex was asian and she used it all the time.

Seriously??

How loose is your helmet to have that happen?? Any sunglasses or glasses i've ever worn with my lid are so tight there's no way they are coming off

you need a new helmet not glasses sir

Lol, my helmet is good and tight, but the frames were a little loose, They were always sliding down my nose when riding.

there are helmets out there with small tabs that lock the visor in place, or barely cracked (for fog) i believe all shoei's and arai's have them. maybe some others as well.

dont let the price tags scare you...shoei TZR's or the new qwest models can be quite affordable if you find them on sale.

prescription visors dont exist and probably never will. just upgrading your helmet to one like i said is your best bet and would be cheaper than Rx visors anyways. plus visors get scratched and need to be replaced every so often anyways.
