Well...you can take South County Road 48 (east/south) off of 288, then pickup FM523 South which runs into Freeport (Oyster Creek).

Or, the more fun/time consuming route of running Crabb River Rd:
Beltway to 59 S to Crabb River Road/Grand Parkway - head south or Left if coming from Houston...turns into 762 S...you'll hit a T intersection, take 1462 E, then County Road 25 S(believe it may be called Cow Creek Rd at first)...then at the next T intersection, 35 E

Here is where you have an option...you can go E on 35 all the way until 288 or you can turn on 521 S before 288 which will lead you to 332 E which heads into Freeport. 332 intersects 288 and 523 as mentioned above.

Anyway you choose, watch for the Brazoria county sheriff's - They have Crown Vics, want to say F-250's, but either way they have extended cab trucks, and Vans (Econoline?)...All have Green on the side of the all white vehicle...green runs from front to back in bold striping - fyi

Ride safe

Once you're south of Pearland, there isn't much, unless you want to head way out of your way.
