By the way.
Henrick crashed from 4th and he had surgeries today.
Broke his ankle and finger.
Was he the one that went in the ambulance? How did his surgeries turn out? Nutmeg seems like you have done cornerworked a few times now don't you have some free trackdays because of it?

Yeah.
He's my friend who's been riding and racing 20 something years.
He never crashed before and this was his very first time.
His Mille took a whole lot better than himself.
I knew he came alone, so I went over to the hospital with him.
Later me and my friends took him and his stuff back home.
I haven't heard about the surgeries.
He had them this morning, so I thought I need to wait a while to call him.

I have two credits with Buck and two with Ride Smart.
I'm going to use Buck's this year and Ride Smart for next year.

Ride whatever group you want if you think you are fast. Just a humble warning though. You may not be as fast as you thought. Actually this is bad advice. Nutmeg has it best. If you have never been out to the track before then there are some rules that need to be learned and by starting with the beginner group you will be coached on these at the beginning of the day. If you are fast enough after a few sessions you will be asked to ride with one of the faster groups. In the end it is a better feeling to be asked to ride with a faster group then it is to hold up a bunch of racers and be asked to move down.

I had the same notion when I first attended the track. Now, that I have experienced tracks, I have different outlook for most riders on the street.
I am still fast on the street but even faster in corners. Then again, what is all that speed for? If I should lose it, I'll ended up in the hospital. Safer at the tracks but still a dangerous sport/hobby.

It's funny how you can spot a person on the street that attend trackdays or mfs class versus a squid with lots of heart.

It might have just been a fluke, ya know... Can't guarantee it'll be as easy for you as it was for me. It's a pretty fast turn, so they all said that if something happens in T7, it's usually pretty bad.

I'll be riding in Level 1. I have no desire to go fast or move up. I guess I'm a little weird like that, but I just want to be smooth on my bike. Once I get smooth, the fast will come by itself.

Oh, and I also don't have a sportbike so it's not quite the same knee-dragging experience.
