yup, because this is one bill we definately need to stop...

Urge your Representative to support today!

On March 3, 2011, Representative Jim Sensenbrenner (R-WI) introduced H.R. 904. This bill would prohibit the Secretary of Transportation from providing grants or any funds to states or local governments to be used for any program to create motorcycle-only checkpoints (MOCs).

So, by opposing this bill you are saying you WANT MC specific checkpoints?

Reading 101, English 101. Might want to sign up for those first...

Talking Reading Is Fundamental

So, we're against the bill that's for prohibiting federal funding of discriminatory motorcycle-only checkpoints?

How is this not profiling? You can't assume somebody is breaking the law....

Ull say this can't happen here. Well it can they have already tried. In our house in Texas have tried this once. Spudnik found it and fought it. We won that battle. There is a bill that they changed there wording of this so called action and trying to slide it in with out notice.
You are either for it or against it. Its a freedom of choice. The way I see it we give them one more thing to use against motorcyclist what freedom will they take next. U know in some countries they don't allow super bikes I/e meaning 600 or bigger. I've been @ the world from base to base different country weirder rules. I'm glad to live here but I don't want or freedoms be taking away.

Yes I did I'm against the dam government funding states up set up mocs
it is unconstitutional in my book. This was sent to me by a.m.a rep that is also against it. That was handed to him by one of our legislative people. This bill is to stop the funding of them. Stop the funding stop them from happening.

Getting pulled over for a quick insurance/license check every once in a while is a fair trade. They're not invading our rights: you're still required to be insured and license. They're just going to step up enforcement. Fine by me. We are not given the freedom to be on the road illegally.
