Unhappy Need help with headlights!!!!

MH,

When i got my back a few weeks ago my high beam bulb was not there which i thought was no problem just get a new one. so i did but when i went to put it in noticed my light fixture was completely detachted from the where ever it may have came from. since i couldnt find where it came from i figured i would just splice the wires from my other light(low beam i guess you would call it) and make it two regular lights and just forget highbeam switch all together. So i did it! But now the new light(high beam) comes on but the other one doesnt even though they are coming from the same source. anybody that is good with this stuff and lives in the southeast pasadena part of town wanna come help me out?????

Thanks,
Chris
