That 04 in Dallas I linked is nice. Plus the 04 up have radial brakes which are just icing on the cake. Plus even tho it doesn't have a bunch of extras, it is really nicely maintained.
stock and clean does it for me, I dont like aftermarket stuff unless I put it on myself, lol. I will have to contact the guy in dallas

It may be just painted but all the 00 models were silver. They are different at the front by the shock but I can't see in those pics.

With all the unknowns unless you could get him down below 3K I'd pass.

You sure? Mine's Candy Green and they had a Maroon one on the floor when I bought. Both 2000 models.

Edit:

Available in Red, Silver or Green in 2000.

Best bike I ever had. Wish I still owned it next to the busa. Put 34,000 on it...half of it sprayed on the streets. Never missed a beat. A suzuki salesman bought it before I left with my new bike.

haha, I always feel like a broke jew when I ask about financing something. lol. I have no doubt I will stumble upon another one in a few months. I dont like the risk of having the owner finance situation. To tell you the truth Im not fond of silver either, lol.

Just heard back from him again, Im gonna save myself the trip and hold out for something cleaner. It sounds like a headache to deal with.

Quote:
I honestly don't know what kind of pipe it is, he called it a custom pro street or something, I thought it looked like a straight with a tip. I didn't get any of the stock stuff with it, it wants to die until it get warms, I haven't messed with the choke yet, I've honestly ridden it twice. I don't know about the over heating part. I asked and he said he added a switch to run the fan longer. He told me the auto was working but it wouldn't kick the fan on till it was already pretty hot. Sorry I'm not very knowledgeable.

Pipe and tune ain't a real biggie.. unless it's a Muzzy. They are a pain to get the 3K flat spot out of.

The A1's were prone to over heat a bit, had a single fan. A Muzzy aluminum blade, good tune, water wetter will cure that. Not uncommon to add the manual switch for stop and go traffic on any of them.

02 and up had dual fans but will still run a little warm in traffic and summer time.

Never know, might be worth a first hand look... for the right price if the motor and trans is sound everything else just bolts on anyhow...

Went back and looked at the pics, looks like a straight pipe, not sure if it's a stock header or not

Left fairing is broken on the bottom in at least one spot. They do look like factory fairings but it's easy to tell up close.

Again, more depends on drivetrain condition and $$$$. A black and gold HK fairing set goes for about $500 on fleabay.
